The following are explanations for various situations that may arise with regard to the access and use of Bizweaver, the status of the license/maintenance or subscription contract, and the steps you can take to resolve the issue.
During the 30-day trial license period, this message will be presented when you open Bizweaver:
If you have paid your license fee you will be able to stop this message from appearing and activate your full license by taking these steps:
This synchronizes Bizweaver with the remote license server which was updated when your payment was received. From this point forward as long as the SAP Installation ID entered under Settings matches the one on the remote license server you'll be able to open and use Bizweaver.

If you have paid the maintenance or subscription fee and you're still seeing this message, it's probably because your SAP Installation ID has been updated in Third Wave's records and on the license server but not in Bizweaver. You can stop the message from appearing by taking these steps:
If you have not paid the annual maintenance fee but would like to, you can take any of these steps:
If you have not renewed your annual maintenance or subscription contract by paying the associated fee, and you're attempting to upgrade to or install a version of Bizweaver that is later than the one you're running, this message will be presented:
You still own a perpetual license to use Bizweaver but as the message states, you will not be eligible for upgrades or support. Clicking OK closes Bizweaver.
If you have paid the maintenance or subscription fee and you're still seeing this message, it's probably because your SAP Installation ID has been updated in Third Wave's records and on the license server but not in Bizweaver. You can stop the message from appearing by taking these steps:

It's extremely rare but it is possible that Bizweaver may not be able to connect to the license server in order to validate the license key. When this happens, this message will be presented:
The cause for this is likely to be an internet connection problem.
You will still be able to use Bizweaver.
You can take these steps to try to reconnect:
If the connection problem persists for more than 14 days, this message will be presented:
In this case, you will still be able to retry the license check (ie test the connection), but you will be unable to use Bizweaver. We prevent use because otherwise, a company could continue to get value from using Bizweaver in perpetuity without an internet connection. It's also highly unlikely that an internet connection problem would go unresolved for more than 14 days.
You will always be able to take these steps to try to reconnect:
Bizweaver now supports a subscription license model. This outlines how subscription licenses behave across various states—active, expired, and disconnected—along with corresponding in-app messages.
No user message is shown. The software functions normally.
