C4P Login with Windows 11
The connection attempt is made, but never completes.
This appears to be a Windows bug that just got introduced and may only be affecting clients who are using Windows 11 PCs. The issue is related to how the connection is being made using either TCP or UDP.
There’s no official fix yet that I’ve seen from Microsoft, but have found the following to work.
- Open Registry Editor (Search regedit.msc)
- Browse to this path: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Terminal Services\Client
- Right-click Client folder –> New –> DWORD (32-bit) Value –> Set the Name to fClientDisableUDP –> Double-click the new key and set the Value Data from 0 to 1

SAP has not officially stated that Windows 11 is supported, but it looks like we are starting to have clients upgrade their OS either independently / with help of IT without consulting us.
