RPC Service Unavailable error message on update of Report Definition

A default printer has not been defined on the machine where the update is being applied

This situation will typically occur in two situations.

First, the update is being done on a server that is used primarily for SAP services only. In this case no printers may have been defined on the machine. If the customer does not want to define network printers on the server a NUL printer can be created.

Second, the update is being done a a new server or workstation where printers have not yet been defined. The same approach as described in the first instance can be used here as well.
