These pages describe the Versago Administration console page. Details for some functions are found in other pages where the content is more extensive.

The following documents contain additional information that may be helpful with understanding these processes.

This document is intended for Versago administrators. End-users do not have access to this function.

• Click on the Admin link in the profile section of the Versago home page to access the Administration console.

• Click on the desired link to access the specific function.

The Site Theme function is used add a logo and set a color scheme for the site. It also contains a setting for the maximum size of files that can be uploaded.

The new site “look” is automatically displayed in the lower section of the page as changes are made.

Changes to the logo and theme color will be displayed to users the next time they log into Versago.

• Click the [Choose File] button to select an image file for the site logo.
  • Only PNG format files are supported at this time.
  • The logo size should not exceed 170 x 170 pixels. Larger images will automatically be resized but may become distorted. It is best to make size adjustments with an external program before using the image with Versago.

1. Click a button to select a Theme Color. The selected color scheme is automatically applied throughout Versago.
2. Only the color schemes shown are available.
   1. Custom colors are not supported at this time.

1. The Form File Upload Size value defines the maximum size (in megabytes) of a file that can be uploaded into the Versago database.
   1. The default of 20 MB is sufficient for most sites.
   2. Increase or decrease the value as appropriate for your needs.

The Dynamic Content functions are used to configure the display and data capture elements of Versago. Each of these functions (except Forms (v1) is defined in a separate Versago document.

The Home Page functions are used to configure the various elements that are displayed on the Versago home page. These functions are described in the “Versago – Home Page Configuration” document. Please refer to that document for more information.

The User Setup functions are used to configure the various elements that define and control users in Versago. These functions are described here.

The Settings functions are used to configure the various technical components that are used by Versago. Each of these functions is defined below or in a separate Versago document.

The System administration function is used to configure several values that are used across the application. Configuration is described here.

The System administration function is used to configure four sets of values. Session Timeout, Time Zone, Report and Bizweaver Token.

Session timeout values define how long a user’s session can be inactive before the session is automatically closed. This is done to help maintain the security of the Versago application.

The timeout value is defined separately for end users and administrators. The timeout value can be defined in hours, minutes, and seconds for each type of user.

Start with the lowest reasonable timeout period for your environment. If you then see issues you can adjust accordingly. Changes become effective the next time the user logs into Versago.

The Time Zone defines the time zone where Versago is hosted. This is then used in conjunction with each user’s time zone in reports (calendar-type).

• Select the appropriate time zone from the list.
  • Values are sorted alphabetically by name (so United States values are toward the bottom of the list).
  • Use “Standard Time” even if Daylight Saving Time is in effect.

The Report value is used to help alert a user to a situation where a Versago report that will return a “large” number of rows. Automatically allowing this type of request can hamper the response of other user activities.

Start with the lowest reasonable value based on your environment. For example, you may have many years of sales order history that equate to thousands of rows of data. This setting will alert the user if their request will exceed the control number of rows. They can then decide if they really want to continue, or perhaps use other filters to limit the initial data set.

Changes become effective the next time a user executes a Versago report.

The Bizweaver token is a value generated in the Bizweaver application. It is used in Versago for authentication of calls to the Bizweaver web service. Information on generating the token can be found in the “Settings” section of here.

Copy the token from the Bizweaver setup and paste it into the Bizweaver Token field in Versago. The token value will be used by any function in Versago that uses the POST method.

The Migration Assistance functions are tools that administrators can use to transfer Versago elements (reports, forms, etc.) from one Versago instance to another. These functions are described here,

The About function displays information regarding the version of Versago currently in use and the number of active users. It also provides a mechanism to enter/confirm the “installation ID” value used by the Third Wave licensing process and allows the license to be updated manually.
