Introduction (Admin Console)

These pages describe the Versago Administration console page. Details for some functions are found in other pages where the content is more extensive.

End users do not have access to any functions in the Admin Console. These functions are only available to users designated as having administrative access.

To Begin

This document is intended for Versago administrators. End-users do not have access to this function.

  • Click on the Admin link in the profile section of the Versago home page to access the Administration console.

  • Click on the desired link to access the specific function.

Site Theme

The Site Theme function is used add a logo and set a color scheme for the site. It also contains a setting for the maximum size of files that can be uploaded.

The new site “look” is automatically displayed in the lower section of the page as changes are made.

Changes to the logo and theme color will be displayed to users the next time they log into Versago.

  • Click the [Choose File] button to select an image file for the site logo.
    • Only PNG format files are supported at this time.
    • The logo size should not exceed 170 x 170 pixels. Larger images will automatically be resized but may become distorted. It is best to make size adjustments with an external program before using the image with Versago.

Third Wave strongly recommends that you apply your company's logo to your Versago site if it exposed outside of your network. Although this is not mandatory it helps “brand” the site and confirms to the user that they have reached your site.

Theme Color

  1. Click a button to select a Theme Color. The selected color scheme is automatically applied throughout Versago.
  2. Only the color schemes shown are available.
    1. Custom colors are not supported at this time.

Form File Upload Size

  1. The Form File Upload Size value defines the maximum size (in megabytes) of a file that can be uploaded into the Versago database.
    1. The default of 20 MB is sufficient for most sites.
    2. Increase or decrease the value as appropriate for your needs.

Dynamic Content

The Dynamic Content functions are used to configure the display and data capture elements of Versago.

Each of these functions (except Forms (v1) is defined in a separate Versago page.

Home Page

The Home Page functions are used to configure the various elements that are displayed on the Versago home page. These functions are described here.

User Setup

The User Setup functions are used to configure the various elements that define and control users in Versago. These functions are described here.

Settings

The Settings functions are used to configure various technical components that are used by Versago. Each of these functions is defined here.

Migration Assistant

The Migration Assistance functions are tools that administrators can use to transfer Versago elements (reports, forms, etc.) from one Versago instance to another. These functions are described here,

About

The About function displays information regarding the version of Versago currently in use and the number of active users. It also provides a mechanism to enter/confirm the “installation ID” value used by the Third Wave licensing process and allows the license to be updated manually.
