There are five standard buttons that are components of a standard form.
Save and Close attempts to save the form information to the database.
Save and New attempts to save the form information to the database.
If the “save” process is successful, the form page is cleared of information, any default values are applied, and remains open for entry of new information.
Save attempts to save the form information to the database.
Delete attempts to remove an existing record.
The target record must be retrieved before the delete option can be used. This can be done by linking to the form from a report or by using the Control Events functionality on primary key field of the form.
The user is asked to confirm the deletion.
Cancel clears any information currently displayed in the form and the form remains open for entry of new information.
