There are five standard buttons that are components of a standard form.

• Save and Close attempts to save the form information to the database.
  • If the “save” process is successful, the form page is closed and the user is returned to the Versago home page.
• Save and New attempts to save the form information to the database.
  • If the “save” process is successful, the form page is cleared of information, any default values are applied, and remains open for entry of new information.
• Save attempts to save the form information to the database.
  • If the “save” process is successful, the form page remains open for entry of additional information.
• Delete attempts to remove an existing record.
  • The target record must be retrieved before the delete option can be used. This can be done by linking to the form from a report or by using the Control Events functionality on primary key field of the form.
  • The user is asked to confirm the deletion.
• Cancel clears any information currently displayed in the form and the form remains open for entry of new information.
  • The user is asked to confirm the cancellation if any information is found on the form.
