Bizweaver Environment Requirements
Review the following requirements for your Bizweaver environment.
Server Hardware Requirements
The following information represents a general guideline for minimum hardware requirements. They should be adequate for most Versago installations. However, it may be necessary to increase CPU and RAM in larger installations.
- CPU
- x64 processor (1.4 GHz or faster) OR x86 processor (1.0 GHz or faster)
- RAM
- 8Gb or greater
- Disk
- The Versago installation package requires ≈285 MB of disk space
- The installed Versago application footprint is ≈140 MB of disk space
As illustrated above, the Versago application does not require a great deal of disk space. However, having a reasonable amount of free disk space (after installation) is highly recommended to avoid issues that can result from low disk space.
Server Software Requirements
Third Wave recommends that Versago be placed on a server dedicated to websites. This is done for security purposes. Although it will work, Versago should typically not be placed on the same server with SAP Business One and SQL Server.
- Windows Server 2012 or higher
- Versago can be used on Windows Server 2008 R2 but the preference is to use a newer version
- Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Services) 7 and higher; active and running
- Microsoft .Net 4.7 or higher
Due to constraints imposed by Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge the name of the any server hosting a Versago web component should not have an underscore in the server name. For example, Server_1 would not be acceptable whereas Server1 or Server-1 would be fine.
Database Requirements
Versago stores configuration and other related data in a Microsoft SQL Server database. No other databases for storing configuration information are supported at this time. The database can be created in an existing SQL Server instance or a new instance can be created.
The above requirement applies only to the storage of configuration information. Connections to both SQL Server and HANA databases for reporting are supported. And additional databases may be added based on demand.

- 2012 or above
- Versago can be used on SQL Server 2008 but the preference is to use a newer version
- Microsoft SQL Server Express
- 2012 or higher
Application Security
If the Versago website will be exposed to external users, i.e. outside your internal network, Third Wave strongly recommends that you use the SSL option. In order to use this option effectively you will need to acquire an SSL certificate. This is a tool that helps ensure secure communication between the web browser and the website.
