In all new releases of the TWBS Return Maintenance Authorization (RMA) application, the add-on will only be available for installation through the SAP® Business One Server management of extensions for lightweight deployment method. Use of this method requires that the SAP® Business One System Landscape Directory be installed on the SAP® B1 Server.

Note – The screenshots in this section are for a different application for process demonstration purposes only.

Launch the SAP® Business One Add-On Administration screen selecting the menu option.
Click the Manage Extensions for Lightweight Deployment link in the bottom right corner of the form .

Note – The SAP® Business One System Landscape Directory must installed on the SAP® B1 Server to access this option.

Selection of the link will open an instance of your default web browser to navigate to the Extension Manager.

Note – If you receive the following notification about the website's security certificate, you can click the Continue to this website option.

Log into the System Landscape Directory using your B1SiteUser credentials.

On the SAP® Business One Extension Manager screen, click the Import button.

Click the Browse button on the Extension Import Wizard form.

Navigate to the local location of the application installation package. Find the ZIP file for the application located in the package and select it.

Click the Upload button on the Extension Import Wizard form.

Information for the application package to be installed will be displayed on the Extension Import Wizard form. Verify the information and click the Next button on the Extension Import Wizard form.

After the application extension has been successfully imported, click the Finish button on the Extension Import Wizard form.

Information for the application will now be displayed on the SAP® Business One Extension Manager screen. You can select the Force Install option checkbox to force the application installation on client machines or terminal servers.

Click on the Company Assignment tab of the SAP® Business One Extension Manager screen and select the SAP® B1 Company database name from the Company List that you want to assign the application to.

Select the application extension option for the application you want to assign on the Extension Assignment Wizard form and then click the Next button.

Select the application extension default start up mode and the specific user preferences for any deviations from the default startup mode that you want to assign to individual users.
Click the Next button on the form.

You will receive a verification that extension assignment for the SAP® B1 Company database has been completed.
Click the Finish button on the form.

Note – If you need to assign the application to more than one SAP® B1 Company database, you can click the Run the extension assignment wizard again link to repeat the process selecting a different SAP® B1 Company database.

Information for the application will now be displayed on the Company Assignment tab for the selected SAP® B1 Company database.

Launch the SAP® Business One Add-On Manager screen selecting the menu option.

The application will now be available to the user through the Add-On Manager screen.

Note – The add-on application cannot be administered through the Add-On Administration screen. It must be administered through the System Landscape Directory application on the SAP® B1 Server.
