• New Features
  • BW-339 - Added a new option in the top icon bar to search for a workflow either by ID number or by name. The workflow can then be opened when selected.
  • BW-305 - The Bizweaver web service now supports using the POST method to invoke a workflow. This provides a mechanism to authenticate the source of a web service call via the use of a “token” that is sent from the calling application and validated by Bizweaver. See the documentation for more information on configuration and use.
• Improvements
  • BW-350 - Added an option to enable error handling for SBOUpdate transactions.
  • BW-338 -Added new functionality to support the use of the POST option in a web service call to initiate another workflow.
  • BW-321 - Internal functions have been updated to allow Bizweaver to function with any version of the Crystal Reports Runtime application (used to generate Crystal Reports).
  • BW-312 - Better feedback is now provided when saving a workflow. Any problems are highlighted and additional information is provided. See https://wiki.twbs.com for more information.
  • BW-301 - Improved the performance of the “repainting” process in the workflow editor design area.
  • BW-295 - Scroll bars have been added to the workflow design area to provide access to more work area and to allow for differences in screen resolution.
  • BW-292 - The Variables tool has been updated to allow an existing variable to be deleted. The application confirms that the variable is not being used in any other steps before allowing the deletion.
  • BW-282 - Support has been added for DI Server and DI API on a SQL Server 2019 platform.
  • BW-265 - Changed application so that only Bizweaver Server actions are posted in the Windows Event Log. In prior versions actions from Bizweaver Commander were also posted but are no longer needed.
  • BW-245 - It is no longer necessary to define the DI/DIAPI connection in the SBOUpdate tool. The connection is automatically taken from the associated Mapper step.
  • BW-224 - The option for “TCP Connection” has been removed from SQL, HANA, DI Server, and DI API connections has been removed as it was not being used.
• Fixes for General Issues
  • BW-349- Addressed an issue where DataBuilder was not capturing all nodes under certain circumstances.
  • BW-330 - Address an issue where the value that could be saved as the Redirect URL for an oAuth2 connection was limited to 25 characters. The limitation has been removed to be “unlimited.”
  • BW-319 - Addressed an issue where SQLCommand steps were creating records when the step was saved. Additional control has been added to prevent using the test run option for a SQLCommand:Non-Query step. A step that contains anything other than a SELECT statement will automatically be converted to Non-Query.
  • BW-309 - Addressed an issue where the “Test Run” function in a SQL Reader step would fail if any column were of type VARBINARY. Column is now displayed with an “X” to indicate that the contents cannot be displayed.
  • BW-294 - Addressed an issue where JSON structures created by DataBuilder did not include all input values in the output in certain cases.
  • BW-275 - Addressed an issue where using “test run” for SQL Reader step that returned a large number of columns would cause the test run to fail. The number of columns displayed is now limited to the first 250. This does not affect the use of the undisplayed columns in subsequent steps.
  • BW-219 - Addressed an issue where numeric values generated using the VBScript tool were not available for use in subsequent steps.
• Fixes for Support Ticket Issues
  • BW-310 - Addressed an issue where attachments were not posted to SAP Business One when using DI API. Support Ticket: 1644
  • BW-304 - Addressed an issue where passwords, ClientID, and Client Secret in REST Global Connections were not hidden as expected as they were entered. Values are now hidden in the standard manner associated with passwords. Support Ticket: 1620
  • BW-303 - Addressed an issue where Boolean values were not being handled correctly by the DataBuilder tool. Support Ticket: 1585
  • BW-300 - Addressed an internal configuration issue that caused web service calls from Versago to Bizweaver to fail. Support Ticket: 1538
  • BW-297 - Addressed an issue where blank/NULL values from FileReader2 reading a JSON input were not handled correctly when the values were inserted into a SQL table. Support Ticket: 1548
  • BW-285 - The WF_Exec tool has been updated to handle double-quotes in the arguments section. This allows multiple parameters that need to be enclosed in double quotes to be passed to the target application. Support Ticket: 1296
  • BW-234 - Addressed an issue where the first (header) row of an Excel file was being handled as a data row in the FileReader2 tool. Support Ticket: 1078

• New Features
  • BW-325 - Added new functionality to create a Global Connections for the SAP Service Layer. See https://wiki.twbs.com/doku.php/bw/global_connections#sap_service_layer_connections for more information.
  • BW-229 - Add the functionality of connecting to the SAP service layer using the web service tool. Also adds a connection option to global connections.
• Improvements
  • BW-615 - Ability to Import or Export Bizweaver workflows between different versions
  • BW-495 - Improves the migration of recurring schedules. Schedules that are recurring will migrate during an upgrade with a From time of 12:00 am and a To time of 11:59 pm.
  • BW-494 - Added functionality to Bizweaver which will check the HANA dll version and use the correct version per the installation.
  • BW-493 - Adds a wizard when upgrading Bizweaver that will open and save each workflow in order to upgrade workflow tools to the newest versions available.
  • BW-449 - Saving schedules will now also save the associated workflow.
  • BW-444 - Addressed an issue where using the DataBuilder “Cumulative Data” option. When used in a loop to process multiple top-level records the structure created would build record-on-record, resulting in an incorrect structure. A new checkbox is available to specify when the cumulative data should be cleared.
  • BW-371 - Added the functionality for DI API SAP Business One v10. This will allow to connect to either SAP v9.3 or SAP v10 using Bizweaver See documentation https://wiki.twbs.com/doku.php/bw/global_connections#di_api_connections
  • BW-337 - Completely revised the Bizweaver scheduling functionality. Created a new user interface for easier navigation, added new options to run at different intervals during a day with do not run times. Address recurring issues.   • BW-333 - Blank value fields in the Data builder tool now will show up as null. No data will need to be entered to close the tool.
  • BW-296 - Added the ability to sort by column when exporting workflows.
• Fixes for General Issues
  • BW-616 - Bizweaver will accept license input during installation and retain it so use does not have to reenter it.
  • BW-563 - Fixes the issue where attributes in the decision tool clear on exit of the tool.
  • BW-505 - Fixes the error message that populates when saving a workflow when a empty folder is open in the task pane.
  • BW-485 - Naming conventions for scheduler adjusted for clarity
  • BW-479 - Fixes the ability to invoke Bizweaver workflows from the Bizweaver API using the web service tool.
  • BW-471 - Fixes the ability to invoke Bizweaver workflows from Versago.
  • BW-465 - Scheduler will not run during Do not Run Between times in a schedule.
  • BW-460 - SAP service layer can now Interact with data with out getting a error.
  • BW-445 - Importing workflows with a SAP service layer connection will now import with error.
  • BW-437 - Schedules Run Continuously intervals run from a start time of 12:00 AM of the current date the schedule runs.
  • BW-436 - Schedules using the Run Every option will run from a 12:00 AM start time of the current date selected.
  • BW-435 - Schedule will display the next execution in the schedule link.
  • BW-427 - Adds the ability to run schedules on the second, third, fourth, ect. weekday of the month.
  • BW-426 - Monthly schedules will only allow selected number days, Weekdays, or Named days Ex: Monday,Tuesday as options to run a monthly schedule.
  • BW-425 - When changing Start and End dates the scheduler will not produce and error after switching the dates if the End date is earlier than the Start date. It will validate this on saving the scheduler.
  • BW-424 - Monthly schedules will run as expected when using the Run Every X Months option.
  • BW-423 - Start and End dates in the weekly and monthly schedules can be modified and saved without them reverting back to the current date.
  • BW-422 - Adds the ability to add email notifications for workflow start and end times the executed if the workflow was never run it will say “Never”
  • BW-420 - Exclusions can be set for past days without error, if a past day is in the scheduler due to the date passing it will also not produce an error.
  • BW-419 - Corrected spacing and alignment issues with scheduler user interface.
  • BW-407 - Schedules now will run on a specific day selected, also the ability to run at one static time or using the Run Continuously add day and Run Every options are available.
  • BW-406 - Scheduler Run Every option adds times correctly, so when setting a range of hours or minuets it will calculate them properly
  • BW-405 - When opening and closing a schedule that was previously set will now display the options selected initially.
  • BW-404 - Fixes issue with schedules shutting off randomly.
  • BW-403 - Ability to save a schedule that is set to run continuously all day with no errors.
  • BW-399 - Scheduler Run Every X minutes will only allow for a max of 59 minutes anything overuse the Run every hour function.
  • BW-398 - Running a scheduler using the Run Every Hours option will only allow you to run every 23 hours as opposed to every 31 hours. If greater than every 23 hours is needed then the Run Daily option is available.
  • BW-397 - The scheduler will run on the correct interval when chosen and not calculate them from a past or future date but the selected start date.
  • BW-396 - Scheduler will accurately select the next run date and time.
  • BW-395 - Saving a workflow will now only set the next run date to the date that is scheduled and not the closest date.
  • BW-394 - Exclusions tab will accurately reflect the number of exclusions on the tab.
  • BW-393 - Ability to remove extra emails added in the scheduler notification tab
  • BW-373 - Tables created from linked objects in the email tool will now display properly and not in a single line
  • BW-359 - SBO Update tool will now count number of records processed properly.
  • BW-237 - Found that“Activities” in DI API are identified as “oContacts”. Also addressed a program issue found during investigation.
  • BW-236 - “Add” now displayed, with associated functions, for oMessages object in Mapper Tool for DI API
• Fixes for Support Ticket Issues
  • BW-302 - Addressed an issue where the Messages service (oMessages) did not display any actions when selected. “Send Message” is now available. Support Ticket: 1106
  • BW-221 - Addressed an issue where Production Orders were not being updated as expected using DI Server. Support Ticket: 968

• New Features
  • BW2-20 - Adds a Start tool automatically when a new workflow is created.
  • BW2-256 - All configuration windows are now modeless. It is now possible to open multiple workflows, and multiple steps within those workflows. This allows the user to copy details from one tool to another.
  • BW2-366 - Add multiple dynamic attachments to an Email tool, also incorporates the ability to zip multiple files.
  • BW2-372 - The Web Service v2 tool now includes point and click selection of services layer objects in the creation of a web services call to SAP Business One.
• Improvements
  • BW2-18 - Addition of type ahead capability to the Content-Type field on Web Service 2 tool.
  • BW2-236 - Shortcut keys are now available in Bizweaver. These include: Starting a new workflow: Ctrl-N Deleting Workflows and tools: Ctrl-Delete Saving Workflows: Ctrl-S
  • BW2-249 - Icons have been added to the Databuilder tool which improves inserting and deleting rows
  • BW2-250 - All data related grids have been improved to auto size columns, and wrap data where necessary to improve the usability.
  • BW2-254 - When a workflow is minimized, all related tools open to that workflow minimize as well.
  • BW2-261 - During a workflow import, If the version of a tool in an imported workflow is more recent than the installed version, the import process will upgrade the installed version to the version being imported.
  • BW2-263 - All icons have been updated for all tools and windows.
  • BW2-269 - Improvements have been made to the usability and look and feel of Bizweaver.
  • BW2-279 - Variables in the variable manager will now be displayed in the order they appear in the workflow.
  • BW2-281 - Spaces are now allowed in workflow step names.
  • BW2-287 - Removed the action bar icons and replaced them with a menu bar.
  • BW2-312 - Improved user feedback. The Bizweaver Z on the workflow designer screen now has 3 states. If it is green, it is enabled and saved to the database. If it is grey, it is disabled, and not saved to the database. If it is grey and green it is saved, but not enabled.
  • BW2-344 - Removed screens that were not necessary during installation.
  • BW2-508 - Replaces the main Bizweaver folder “Bizweaver Tasks” to “All Workflows”. Every workflow will now display in this folder regardless of where they are stored in Bizweaver. This also is the main folder for all newly created workflows and imported workflows.
• Fixes for General Issues
  • BW2-53 - Attributes in Decisions are retained and no longer clear on exit.
  • BW2-54 - Removing variables from the Variables tool will no longer trigger an error.
  • BW2-83 - Can no longer add more than one Start tool to a workflow
  • BW2-131 - Web Service 2 tool will no longer automatically authenticate on opening the tool unless the user selected it.
  • BW2-141 - Clicking the Retrieve License button in settings will now check the Bizweaver license on clicking.
  • BW2-158 - Attributes in the decision tool are now in alphabetical order.
  • BW2-211 - Workflows in each folder can be filtered for “All Enabled”, “All Disabled” or “All workflows.” The filter can be opened by clicking the filter icon to the right of the search box in the workflow list.
  • BW2-226 - Workflows that have decisions in them can now be called through the Bizweaver Service without failing.
  • BW2-497 - Adding a license during installation will now be retained.
  • BW2-502 - Building XML arrays will no longer trigger an error.
  • BW2-505 - Variables in the Variable tool can now be renamed without it creating a new variable.
  • BW2-514 - Can now add custom separators for different layers of XML and JSON with the File reader tool.
• Fixes for Support Ticket Issues
  • BW2-378 - Fixed an issue when deleting variables in the variable manager that are no longer needed. If the variable is being used, you will be informed, and the delete action will be canceled.
  • BW2-381 - This adds support for Exchange 2016.
  • BW2-383 - Fixes adding Blanket Agreements to SAP they will now add successfully without errors.
  • BW2-401 - API tokens for calls to Bizweaver from Versago should not expire.
  • BW2-403 - Allows Journal Entries to be updated in SAP from Bizweaver.

• New Features
  • BW2-24 - Custom content can be added to the body of an email error notification in addition to the systemgenerated message
  • BW2-452 - Reserved characters for JSON are escaped with options in the variable flyout.
  • BW2-453 - Breakpoints can be set during workflow testing.
  • BW2-466 - Reserved characters for XML are escaped with options in the variable flyout.
  • BW2-467 - F4 displays the Variable manager as a flyout in the opened window of the selected tool.
  • BW2-468 - Empty, or blank values in a workflow step are replaced with NULL using the option in the variable flyout.
  • BW2-530 - Reserved characters for SQL/HAHA are escaped with options in the variable flyout.
  • BW2-598 - Email Notifications setup for a workflow is displayed as a flyout.
  • BW2-599 - Continue on error for steps in a workflow are viewed and activated in the workflow list view.
  • BW2-600 - Notifications and continue-on errors can be suppressed while testing a workflow.
  • BW2-601 - Workflow error log files can be attached to email error notifications.
  • BW2-607 - Type-ahead search for email recipients is in workflow notifications setup.
  • BW2-635 - Breakpoints can be modified during a test run.
  • BW2-636 - All breakpoints can be disabled, enabled, or removed in the list view with a single action.
  • BW2-664 - The workflow controls in the workflow design window are consolidated into a collapsable ribbon.
• Improvements
  • BW2-19 - SBOUpdate step can now be used as a “Linked Object” in an Email step.
  • BW2-21 - Steps cannot be added after the End step.
  • BW2-22 - The tab order in the Email tool table layout window is standard left to right top down.
  • BW2-480 - The SAP Mapper tool now has a type-ahead search for the source and target columns.
  • BW2-567 - Double-clicking on a connection in Connection Manager opens its configuration window.
  • BW2-594 - Workflows by default will now sort by name.
  • BW2-596 - All notification types are consolidated in the notifications flyout.
  • BW2-629 - Minor UI improvements are made to the notifications flyout.
  • BW2-631 - Bizweaver email error notifications have a formatted subject line.
  • BW2-638 - The test controls, log, and variable selector are consolidated in the design window.
  • BW2-648 - Error log email attachments are compressed if they are too large for an email. If attachments are still too large after compression a message will indicate it in the email.
  • BW2-650 - All workflows can be selected for export.
  • BW2-651 - Imports can be scoped to a folder.
  • BW2-652 - Exported workflows have default file names.
  • BW2-653 - Connections can be imported/export as .bwcx files in the connection manager.

  • BW2-421 - Two simultaneous VBScript steps can process in separate workflows.
  • BW2-484 - File New in the workflow designer window menu bar opens a workflow in a new window.
  • BW2-500 - Clicking “Retrieve License” in settings displays the latest version of Bizweaver and the number of workflows allowable for that license.
  • BW2-527 - On importing a workflow, the on-off state of the schedule is retained.
  • BW2-572 - When Filereader2 encounters an empty field it no longer populates it with the value of the last nonempty field.
  • BW2-586 - Email tool tables retain percentages or pixels for cell padding, cell spacing, and width for the table, column, and group layouts.

• New Features
  • BW2-662 - Standardized database normalization.
  • BW2-675 - On upgrade workflows will automatically migrate to the new normalized database structure.
  • BW2-721 - Database calls have been minimized to help performance.
  • BW2-723 - Data repositories are in place to collect, manage, and store data sets for data analysis, and reporting.
  • BW2-756 - Database calls will now take place in the service layer of the application for better performance.
  • BW2-818 - More logging tables added for future implementation of dashboard and monitoring features.
• Improvements
  • BW2-674 - NCALC Expression Calculator has changed to a supported open source Expression Calculator.
  • BW2-845 - Slight changes to the workflow execution UI.
  • BW2-846 - Slight changes to the workflow designer UI.
• Fixes
  • BW2-768 - Values entered for branch evaluation in the decision tool will allow spaces.
  • BW2-803 - Adding a new variable in the variable manager tool will not change any other variable in a workflow except for the one changed.
  • BW2-866 - Templates in the file reader tool will no longer clear when changing the input file.
  • BW2-961 - Addressed an issue where System Variables were not being correctly populated on several tools.
  • BW2-752 - Address an issue in the SAP Mapper that does not expose the DocEntry field in the DI API.
  • BW2-753 - Addresses an issue where Bizweaver will freeze when right-clicking on a workflow and selecting “View Job Logs”.

• New Features
  • BW2-874 - Adding the ability to trigger workflows from the SAP post-execute stored procedures via a listener application. Triggers are set up and managed from the Bizweaver UI.
  • BW2-930 - Improved user interface for Bizweaver settings.
• Improvements
  • BW2-887 - Bizweaver message boxes will no longer use the colored banner and use the system default message box throughout the application for consistency.
  • BW2-970 - Improved error message on FileReader2 tool when there is a file type mismatch between configured file type and actual read file type.
  • BW2-1019 - Product licensing scenarios and behavior updates with more informative messages and links to wiki for further assistance
• Fixes
  • BW2-430 - Addressed an issue where the FileReader2 tool used the wrong sequence on default column heading when reading files without headers.
  • BW2-606 - Addressed an issue where the FileReader2 tool misplaced data in different rows when reading xml or json files.
  • BW2-961 - Addressed an issue where System Variables were not being correctly populated on several tools.
  • BW2-969 - Addressed an issue where the Crystal report file extension was missing after selecting the File Extension radio button.
  • BW2-971 - Addressed an issue where the FileWriter tool added column headings to detail records when using the Custom String option.
  • BW2-974 - Addressed an issue with the Salesforce web service where the selected fields were not populating in the text area when the 'Query' option was selected.
  • BW2-980 - Addressed an issue with the Salesforce web service where the selected fields were not populating in the text area when the 'Query' option was selected.
  • BW2-1001 - Addressed an issue with workflow imports where the SMTP connection mapping is missing from the import configuration tab.
• Known Issues
  • DIServer SBO Update - If you have a decision tool after an SBOUpdate tool that uses a DIServer connection, if you try to modify the decision expression, you'll receive the error “Exception while fetching sub nodes for DIAPI object”. The workflow will still run without error. If you need to modify the expression you must first save the mapper tool and save the SBO tool and then the error will be resolved.

• New Functionality
  • BW2-1162 - Implemented support for REST API calls to Bizweaver workflows. The implementation consists of the following:
    1. A system generated Swagger page that provides information for each endpoint.
    2. A new API Schema Designer tool that allows the workflow builder to design the API’s payload.
    3. A new API Response Tool to design the API’s response.
  • BW2-1183 - Implemented new encryption tool to match the algorithm used by Versago. The tool can be used to encrypt Versago links that contain form record identifiers.
  • BW2-1204 - Implemented a new variable tab that allows variable search and sorting in alphabetical and workflow order.

• Improvements
  • BW2-1064 - Implemented plain-text login of credentials for the Web Service tool so that connection settings can be verified.

• Fixes
  • BW2-1260 - Resolved an issue where concatenating a variable that contained an URL in the SQL tool did not work properly.
  • BW2-1261 - Resolved an issue where the SQLResultCount variable did not populate in HANA queries.
  • BW2-1262 - Resolved an issue where the ROUND function in the SQL tool did not work properly for HANA connections.
  • BW2-1323 - Resolved an issue where the concatenation of variables in an SQL query returned an error message.
