B1 Messages

SAP Business One messages can be created using DI API. These messages are displayed in the Incoming Messages area in Business One.

The basic query to prepare to send a message will be something like this.

select
t0.UserID, t0.User_Code, t0.U_Name, 'Test Message' as "Subject", 'Test message text' as "MessageText", 1 as "SendInternal", -1 as "RecipientTypee", 1 as "MsgPriority", E_Mail
from OUSR t0
where t0.UserID = 1

In this case, the message will go to the “manager” user (UserId 1).

It is also important for messages to know that the user must have an email defined in Business One, even if it is strictly internal.

The mapping for the message has two components: the message and the recipients. The mapping will look like the following images.
