Load Report Failed message

User gets load report failed message when trying to run a crystal report

Multiple reasons

One of the following could be the cause of this issue:

General:

1. Incorrect file path: Make sure that the rpt file location is specified correctly on the Report Definitions window.

2. Dll not registered: If you have verified that the report path is correct and you are still not able to run ANY report, thentry manually registering the crqe.dll by running this command: regsvr32 “C:\program files\common files\Crystal Decisions\[version]\bin\CRQE.dll”, where [version] stands for the version of the crystal report runtime. It is 3.0 for Crystal XI and 3.5 for Crystal XI release 2

3. Crystal XI Release 2: If you recently upgraded to Crystal Reports XI release 2 and are running versions of CW prior to 2005.5.1.107, please upgrade to the latest release avaialble on our ftp site.
