Network access issues in Bizweaver
Workflow fails with error related to “access”
Bizweaver service is running as local service that does not have access to network resources
A workfflow exeuctes as expected when the user is in the Bizweaver application. However, when the same workflow is run on a schedule, it fails with an error something like “System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path is denied.” This most often happens with file operations.
The most probable cause is that the Bizweaver service, which executes scheduled jobs, is running as a local service. In most cases the local service will not have access to other network locatsions.
Resolve by defining a dedicated Bizweaver network user that has access to the needed locations. The password for this user should never expire. Change the Logon for the Bizweaver service to use this new user. Restart the Bizweaver service after making the change.
