Marketing is critical to your overall business if you want to grow and thrive in today’s economy. Shouldn’t your business management solution provide tools that allow you to accomplish your marketing goals?
Easily track and manage leads and activities:
Third Wave’s Marketing Campaign Management (MCM) enables your team to create, execute and track marketing efforts all in one place. Now you can enter, import and manage marketing prospect lists before you’re ready to add them to your list of active Business Partners.
MCM allows you to import and store your prospect lists and associated activities in a separate, yet related, set of tables. So, you are able to use the simple and elegant SAP® Business One interface to manage your marketing activities without slowing Business Partner reports and queries.
Once you import your prospect list and set up a campaign, you can even establish a bidirectional connection with Constant Contact or use the built-in email blast feature. When you use the power of SAP® Business One queries to select your audience, you’ll easily keep all activities in one place. Finally, when a marketing prospect becomes qualified to enter the sales process, a single click allows you to promote them into your Business Partners tables, pulling all your complete activity history with it.
Expand the functionality and usability of your SAP® Business One feature-set with MCM. Manage a larger volume of prospects, campaigns and programs while developing and tracking distinct marketing campaigns - all in one place.
Finally, a tool that enables you to measure the effectiveness and return on your marketing investment integrated within SAP® Business One.
An internal SMTP server (Microsoft Exchange or other local mail server) is required.
The ability to post messages to LinkedIn, Twitter, or Facebook.
A robust utility screen for searching Marketing Campaign Manager data and saving the search data as a MCM Search-based query for later use in message editing.

Third Wave Business System SAP® Business One add-ons have been updated with an automatic licensing procedure. In order to obtain a permanent license key, the production environment SAP® Business One installation number must first be provided to TWBS Support so that the information can be entered into our systems. The SAP® Business One installation number is a critical component to the new TWBS application license keys. Without this information you will only be able to obtain a 30-day application trial license.
On start up, the application client will verify that a valid license exists for the application having been purchased based on your SAP® Business One installation number. If the license is verified, the application will start. If the application has not been purchased, a 30-day trial license will be issued to allow for limited use of the application. If your trial license has expired and you would like to purchase the application to obtain a full license key, please contact Third Wave Business Systems @ (201) 703-2100.
The TWBS MCM database objects may be created by a super-user on the SAP® Business One Server machine.

The function of the Account screen is the enter and maintain prospective Business Partner accounts of varying types (ex. Customers, Vendors, etc.) in an environment separate from the SAP® Business Partners Master Data. This provides the flexibility to remove potential customers as needed which is not possible once the Business Partner record has been created in SAP. These accounts allow for the tracking of the potential Business Partners for the purposes of marketing without needlessly adding records to the SAP system that may never be used.
Once a Business Partner record has been created in the SAP® Business One system, it cannot be removed. It can only be deactivated.

The following section outlines different real-world application scenarios utilizing the TWBS Marketing Campaign Management application.
This information is required only if you wish to utilize Constant Contact for e-mail marketing management from SAP® Business One via the Marketing Campaign Management application.

Once an Account is removed from the system, it cannot be recovered.
In this step you will define the type and location of your input data file.
Remember that the Marketing Account records must be imported before importing Contacts and Addresses.
At the bottom of the screen are found the “Deduping” options. “Deduping” describes how you want the import process to handle situations where a duplicate record is found. The way you approach this may be different for each type of import data.
Select the field from the dropdown list that you want to test for an existing record. The fields presented in the list are the fields you have included in your import file.
Select the desired action to be taken when a duplicate is found. Use “Update existing record with file details” if you are deliberately intending to update existing records. Use “Skip record if duplicate is found” if you are loading a new set of lead information and you don’t want to duplicate a record that already exists.
In the next step you will tell the application how the fields in your import file relate to the fields in the database.
The mapping process must be completed each time the import function is executed. The Save Mapping process simply saves a file that is used for the current import cycle.
Click Finish to execute the actual import process. A message box is displayed when the import process is complete. Click OK to close the message box.
When the import process is complete you can click Cancel to exit the import function or click Back to move to previous steps.
The TWBS Marketing Campaign Management application provides a tool to import Marketing Accounts from an external text (tab delimited) or Excel file. In version 1 of the tool it is necessary to import this information in three separate cycles. Information that can be imported includes Master information, Contact information and Address information.
This utility can be used to both import new records and update existing records, subject to some limitations. A description of how the update process can be used is found in the “Execute the Import Process” that follows.
The import file can be either at tab delimited text file or a standard Excel workbook. If you use an Excel workbook only the first worksheet can be used for import data. The following tables describe the information for each data set (master, contact and address).
The first row of the import file should contain the column name. The information in this row is presented in the import mapping process to allow you to “connect” data in your file to the appropriate field in the Marketing database.
It is not necessary to have data for all columns listed in the tables. Your file can consist of columns for only the data you are going to import. So your file may only have five or six columns.
The following table identifies the data that can be imported for a Marketing Account Master record. Any User Defined Fields you may have created will also be displayed in the interface so that you can import custom information as well. A more complete description of how the various fields are used is found in the **Marketing Campaign Manager Screens** sections of this User Guide.
