Menus allow a Versago administrator to create menu structures that more closely follow the needs of specific Roles. A menu provides the ability to display data views, dashboards, and forms in any sequence, and to have custom groupings of functions. A menu takes the place of the default Versago menu structure for the associated role.

There is a one to one relationship between menus and roles. Any content that needs to appear in a menu must first be authorized for the associated role.

It is important to remember that if custom menus are in use, Versago content must be assigned to a custom menu for it to be displayed. If content is associated with the role but is not added to the custom menu, it will not be displayed for the users in that role.

The Menus page provides a list of existing menus in the system

1. Click the [Add Menu] button to create a new Menu.
2. Click a row in the listing to edit a Menu.
3. Click the [Trash] icon to delete a Menu.

Use the standard icons to the search, filter and show/hide columns.

• Fields marked with * are required. All other values are optional.
• Once a Role is selected, all authorized data views, forms and dashboards will be displayed under the Content panel

1. Drag and drop from the Content panel to to either the Quick Actions or Main Menu panels
2. Dots next to the content indicate if an item has already been added. Upper dot indicates Quick Actions panel and lower dot indicates Main Menu
3. You can drag and drop between the Quick Actions Panel and the Main Menu
4. Use the + sign to add folders
5. Content placed in the Quick Actions panel are displayed to the user at the top of the menu. The idea of Quick Actions is that they are functions the user uses very frequently.
