Summing function in forms does not work consistently.

A form has two column in the grid.  Each column is summed in the form footer field.  Sometimes a column sum is calculated and sometimes not.

Some rows do not have a value in the field to be summed.  This usually occurs when a field is blank.

The summing function assumes that all fields to be summed have a value, even if the value is 0 (zero).  The ensure that the field has a value, set the default value to 0 in the control.  That way the summing function will always see a “number” and function as expected.
