Symptom
User receives error “Cannot create attachment” when trying to deliver document through Outlook
Cause
Outlook temporary folder is missing
Resolution Notes
When the user tries to deliver a document from CrystalWave/APP through Outlook they receive a message: “Cannot create file: file name. Right-click the folder you want to create the file in and click Properties on the shortcut menu to check your permissions for the folder.”
According to Microsoft the issue is caused by the following: “This issue may occur when the Temporary Internet Files folder is stored on a server on which you do not have sufficient permissions. ” It may also be that the temporary folder does not exist.
