Issue
SBO Connector Not Connecting to SQL Server / SAP Server
Symptom
When you attempt connect a different TC machine to SAP/SQL, it doesn`t connect
Cause
Missing / Incorrect SQL Client Tools version
Resolution Notes
The TaskCentre server has one version of SQL and the SAP server has a different version of SQL. In the event that this happens, you will receive an error when attempting to add a SBO Connection. The fix for a SAP Server with SQL2005 is to download the appropriate tools version from here:
Basically the issue was that this machine had SQL2008 on it and the SAP server with SBO Common had SQL2005. I think there were SQL or ADO driver conflicts when it tried to connect to the DIAPI.
The 2005 downloads were here. I used sqlncli_x64.msi. The VB Script that Eddy gave me now responds successfully.
